Introduction

   Hello friends and welcome to my blog all about beer in the Bay Area.

   My name is Jack Molmud and I am currently a third year student at De Anza College. I am a journalism major/videographer and a total beer snob. Through this blog I intend to enlighten those reading about beer and showcase local breweries through my writing skills.
 
   You can say my passion for beer stems back to when I was about 16 years old. When my older brother turned 21 and got into craft brews himself. He would always force me to try the dankest and darkest IPA's, Stouts, and Ales he could find. At first I objected to the harsh taste of beer, the bitterness cause by the alpha and beta acids was too much for my saturated teenage palate. Though after some time I acquired a taste for what people consider are craft brews. Since then my knowledge of beer has grown exponentially; and now that I am 21, I tend to frequent new and local breweries all around the Bay Area. I plan on using the blog to highlight exceptional drinks I find, and showcase interesting people involved in the process of brewing, and how they contribute to beer culture.
